MEET FOUNDER
DANIKA BERRY

Danika Berry is a renowned figure in the beauty industry, known for her remarkable work as a beauty publicist, TV producer, and founder of Glam Body. Her career, spanning over twenty years, has been marked by resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to uplifting Black women in beauty.
 

Her professional journey includes representing top female-founded, black-owned beauty brands, enhancing their visibility on a global scale. Danika has worked intimately with notable Black Founders like Monique Rodriguez of Mielle, Janell Stephens of Camille Rose, Mahisha Dellinger of Curls, Britni Ricard of Cota Skin, Jesseca Dupart of Kaleidoscope, Raynell Steward of Crayon Case, and Robyn Atwater of CurlDaze, strategically amplifying their personal brands to elevate product sales and relevance.
 

Her efforts have garnered recognition in prestigious outlets like Forbes, Black Enterprise, Essence, Elle, Cosmo, and The Today Show. In 2017, she launched Glam Body, an upcycled body care and wellness brand that quickly became a symbol of empowerment and well-being.

Beyond business, Danika’s dedication to mental health advocacy, especially for black beauty entrepreneurs and black women, is a cornerstone of her work. Her latest initiative, National Black Beauty Founders Day, established in 2023, exemplifies her commitment to empowering others. As a single mother of three, Danika continues to inspire with her unwavering determination and grace in facing life’s challenges.

ANGELA STANLEY McCRAY

Angela Stanley McCray, a marketing executive within the beauty sector, has emerged as a pioneer in this ever-evolving field. Her strategic foresight, groundbreaking ideas, and steadfast dedication to enhancing the beauty experience have positioned her as a prominent figure shaping the beauty landscape. Noteworthy contributions to the industry include her impactful work with brands such as BREAD, Camille Rose, and various others she has consulted.

Having a background in marketing across diverse industries and Fortune 500 companies (including Turner Broadcasting/Warner Media, Home Depot Corporate, BBDO, Fitzgerald & Co, Spirits, Tourism, and more), Angela successfully translated her skills into the beauty sector. Her ascent through the ranks in the beauty industry was marked by a keen understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and the unique dynamics of the beauty market. Leveraging market insights and innovative strategies, she not only ensured brand relevance but also established a competitive edge.

 Recognizing the paramount importance of staying ahead in the beauty sector, particularly for Black-owned and founded brands, she has championed the integration of technology, data analytics, and sustainability into marketing strategies. This commitment has not only enhanced brand image but has also resonated with conscious consumers valuing progressive practices.

Angela Stanley McCray continues to inspire marketers and beauty enthusiasts alike, emphasizing that beauty is a reflection of passion, innovation, and the art of storytelling. Her commitment extends to fostering collaboration, networking, and providing support and resources for both established and emerging brands.
